Bradley Crocker
President & Chief Executive Officer

Bradley Crocker is President and Chief Executive Officer of Americas Styrenics, appointed to this position in 2012.

Previously, Mr. Crocker served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lawter, Inc., following numerous assignments in the chemical industry at companies including Nalco Chemical Company, International Paper, and Momentive Specialty Chemicals.  Following college, Mr. Crocker also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army.

In 1992, Mr. Crocker entered the pine chemical industry, joining the Chemical Products Division of Union Camp Corporation, holding various positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, and general management until 2003.  From there, Mr. Crocker joined Resolution Performance Products, the world's largest producer of Epoxy, shortly after it's divestment from Shell Chemical.  In 2006, Resolution Performance Products was one of many chemical holdings combined to form Hexion Specialty Chemicals, at which time Mr. Crocker became Vice President and General Manager of Hexion's Ink and Adhesive Resins (IAR) Business.  In 2011, Mr. Crocker led the divestiture of IAR to Harima Chemicals to form Lawter, Inc., a global leader in the supply of resins and additives to the graphic arts, adhesives, specialty coatings, and rubber industries.  Brad was selected to lead the new stand-alone company as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Crocker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemisty from the University of Georgia.


Thomas Egolf

Thomas Egolf is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Americas Styrenics, and he has been in this position since the formation of the company in 2008.

Mr. Egolf previously worked for 25 years in the chemical industry, working in a variety of finance roles for The Dow Chemical Company and its subsidiaries in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and in the U.S. and his last position at Dow was Finance Director for their licensing & catalyst business. Prior to joining Dow, Mr. Egolf had worked for several years in banking, at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co.’s branch office in Switzerland.

Thomas is a Swiss Federally Certified Business Administrator and majored in accounting and commercial mathematics. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and has completed the Executive Education Program at the University of Michigan Business School, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Scot Mitchell

Scot Mitchell is Commercial Vice President of Americas Styrenics, a position he was named to in 2007. Prior to assuming this role, Mitchell was the Global Manager of Polystyrene for Chevron Phillips Chemical.

Mitchell joined Chevron Phillips Chemical in 2004 as Manager of Americas Sales & Marketing – Styrenic Polymers. Later that year he was named Global Sales & Marketing Manager – Styrenic Polymers. In 2007, he was named Global Manager – Polystyrene.

Mitchell began his career in the petrochemical industry with Fina Oil & Chemical Company in 1985 as a Marketing Manager. In 1997, he joined the parent company Petrofina, S.A. as a business support manager in Brussels, Belgium. In 1998, he was named General Manager of Styrenics for Total. In 2000, he joined Townsend Polymer Services and Information as Vice President and COO and was later promoted to President and CEO.

Mitchell is a graduate of Utah State University with a B.S. in Marketing and of Paul Smith’s College with an A.A.S. in Forestry.


Peter Ott
Vice President of Operations

Peter Ott is Vice President of Operations of Americas Styrenics, a position he was named to in 2007. Prior to assuming this role, Ott was the Vice President of Manufacturing for MEGlobal where he led the manufacturing organization in delivering a sustainable competitive advantage through the safe and reliable operation of three world-scale EO-EG production plants located in Alberta.

Ott started his career at Dow Chemical Canada in 1982 as a process engineer at the company’s Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site.  After a series of production assignments, Ott was named Production Leader of Dow Canada’s Polystyrene facility in Sarnia, Ontario in 1994.  In 1995, he assumed additional responsibility for the Sarnia, Ontario Styrene facility. 

In 2000, Ott moved to Dow’s Michigan Operations in Midland, Michigan as Production Leader/Business Manufacturing Leader for Saran Barrier Systems.  In 2002, Ott was named Prentiss Site Director and relocated to Red Deer, Alberta.

During his assignment with MEGlobal, Ott was a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chemical Producers Association and the United Way of Central Alberta.  Ott earned a B.S. in Applied Science (Chemical Engineering) from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Alberta.


 
Randy Pogue
Vice President of Feedstocks and Corporate Services

Randy Pogue is Vice President of Feedstocks and Corporate Services of Americas Styrenics, a position he was named to in 2007. Corporate services include responsibility for the supply chain, customer service, IT and purchasing functions. Prior to assuming this role, Pogue was Dow’s Global Supply Chain Leader for the Aromatics and Aromatic Derivatives Businesses.

Pogue joined Dow as a Senior Research Chemist at Texas Operations in Hydrocarbons and Energy R&D. He worked in styrene catalyst and new process research before participating in one of the first Dow Six Sigma training waves in 1999. He became Six Sigma black belt certified in 2000 while working on a variety of styrene/polystyrene envelope management projects.

Randy accepted the role of Aromatic Derivatives Global Supply Chain Manager in 2000 and added the responsibility for Hydrocarbons North American rail fleet in 2002 and the Global Aromatics Business Supply Chain in 2004. Pogue served as a business team member for both the Aromatic Derivatives and Aromatics businesses and has also served as the Dow representative for the Styrene Information and Research Center (SIRC) from 2004 to 2006.

Randy holds a B.S in Chemistry from Drury College and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma.


Doug Chauveaux
Vice President Human Resources

Doug Chauveaux is Vice President of Human Resources, a position he was named to in 2007. Prior to assuming this role, Chauveaux was a Human Resources Business Partner at Chevron Phillips Chemical.

Chauveaux joined Phillips Petroleum in 1989 as Management Services Rep at Phillips’ Refinery in Borger, Texas. In 1990, he was named Personnel Analyst at Phillips’ Specialty Chemicals plant in Borger, Texas. In 1992, he was named Labor Relations Specialist and in 1996, was promoted to Human Resources Manager for the Specialty Chemicals plant.

In 2001, Chauveaux was named Human Resources Manager for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. In 2003, he became the HR Business Partner for Finance, IT and Planning & Specialty Products. In 2005, he was named Manager for College Relations and Staffing, and in 2006, Chauveaux was named HR Business Partner for Aromatics & Styrenics and Olefins & Polyolefins.

Chauveaux is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Education and a M.S in Educational Administration.

 
Joe Hulett
Vice President General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Public Affairs

Joe Hulett is Vice President and General Counsel of Americas Styrenics, a position he was named to in 2007. He is also Corporate Secretary and manages Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.

Prior to assuming this role, Hulett held various assignments in the Intellectual Property and Commercial Legal Groups of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, supporting a wide range of business units and technologies.

Hulett was also formerly an Intellectual Property Litigator with the law firm Fish & Richardson in their Houston and Boston offices and was Chief Patent Counsel at Plug Power Inc., in Latham, New York, a leading developer of hydrogen fuel cell technology.

Hulett graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and received his Juris Doctorate of Law from the University of Houston.
