Facility Profile:
Located on State Route 7 south of the city of Marietta, OH, the plant has been in operation since 1955. The plant has 10 lines to produce polystyrene using Chevron Phillips Chemical’s proprietary low-volatility, high-heat crystal polystyrene technology. A research and technology center supporting the polystyrene product line is located adjacent to the production facility. This site also includes a pilot plant, a technical laboratory and fabrication area. The facility became an Americas Styrenics asset in May 2008.
