AmSty Receives Rising Star Award

Americas Styrenics was awarded the United Way Rising Star award for 2010 campaign achievement. The Rising Star Award is presented to an organization who is in the first few years of running a United Way campaign which creates a philanthropic environment and promotes community involvement.

July 2011 - Helping A Hero

Americas Styrenics is a supporter of the Helping A Hero organization. Helping A Hero is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-partisan organization providing support for military personnel, severely injured in the war on terror. The volunteer organization was founded for the purpose of building specially adapted homes for severely wounded heroes in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

AmSty Participates in Habitat for Humanity Executive Build Day

Americas Styrenics participated in the Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity’s second annual Executive Build on March 31, 2011. It is the second year that AmSty has participated in this event that raises awareness among the corporate community for the Habitat for Humanity’s local Montgomery County affiliate.
