High-Heat Polystyrene
Like general purpose polystyrene, high-heat polystyrene is one of the most economical solutions for brilliant gloss, water-white clarity and stiffness in thermoforming, extrusion and injection-molded applications. However, high-heat polystyrene requires higher temperatures to soften and allow penetration than general purpose polystyrene. Typical applications include foam products like egg cartons, meat trays and clamshells, as well as medical products and other consumer containers.
